Vintage-Modern Furniture

I've been collecting these images for quite some time now. My eye has been drawn to vintage modern lately. It's fun and different. What do you think? Would you use some of this in your children's play areas?

Designed in the 1950s by the ELBE Factory in Sweden, from Retro Modern Design

A cool tool for teaching your child their ABC’s! Inspired by vintage printing blocks, made by Kent and London

This beautiful Noah's Arc looking cradle is handmade by Katrin Arens. Looks like such a peaceful place to lay a bitty babe.

Isn't this fun? It's Mukaki

This rocker seems like a great idea, I don’t know why they aren’t more common.

This giant bird nest was designed by Merav Eitan and Gaston Zahr as part of the Green Garden Exhibition.

Looks so inviting, doesn’t it?

I've been in to clouds lately (literally). So cute, eh? This one is from Richard Shed's Kid City project. Check it out here

Zelig is a wonderful collection of children’s chairs by Israeli designer Elad Ozeri. They would be very cool in a play room.

Saved my favorite for last. Love, love this Eames rocker. CoMods Etsy Shop is the place to find it.
